ecu code?

Re:ecu code?
Either that or its out of adjustment or just dirty. DO NOT BREAK THE SENSOR!!! Its one of the biggest mistakes from Honda. You can only buy the TPS with the Throttle body because they do not sell them seperately. undo the retaining bolts with torx bits then spray the inside of the sensor off with carb cleaner or so and clean on out inside of where it bolts because the gasket usually breaks and makes it stick. pop it back in with the least amount of force then put the bolts back in but don't tighten. Start the car up then rotate the the TPS around to where it sounds the best. Then tighten the bolts. If that doesn't work check the continuity from the tops going to the ecu by unplugging the ecu connectors (MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY!) and check for continuity from the sensor plug to each of the wires going to the ecu. If you have continutiy THEN replace the sensor if you can get ahold of one. No use in replacing something that expensive if its not broken. hope that helps.

Re:ecu code?
lol, is that how you adjust a TPS? haha
normally set the tps to .5v at closed, and should be about 4.5 @ WOT with a volt/multimeter
"undo the retaining bolts with torx bits "
Torx bits? hah, never seen a honda with torx bits. Honda uses break-away screws on TPS's so people cant ---- with them. If you have to remove a TPS, you have to grind off the old head of the screw, and use new screws.
