When you let go of the gas ; on a si ef theres like this little pluger hooked up to vaccum and it acts on the throttle plates. So when you let go of the gas the throttle valve does not close all the way, it keeps the plate a crack open ive been told it helps maintain idle.During these conditions.

sounds like your fuel filter it maybe dirty and it takes a couple minutes of fuel flow to get everything moving right. thats what happened to my y7. every morning it was a bitch to keep running even had to ru a couple stop signs. after about two minutes or so or driving it went away.
