I can put it in any gear and let off the clutch and the car doesn't move
you know what, I just re-read that and now im confused.

Motor = d16z6. the 89 DX tranny worked fine using 93 clutch/flywheel.

what tranny are u trying to put in?

He already has the DX tranny in the car with '93 Z6 flywheel and the '93 clutch, he said it ran ok..it should.
But now has problems with it.

tranny ran good for over a year... Put 93' Z6 in and now, it won't move...
89' DX tranny ( didn't even grind ), and 93' flyW./clutch/presure plate.

hmmm maybe you did sumting wrong...I know that when your axles aren't inserted all the way in the tranny...the axles won't turn. You need to click it in pretty hard and you musn't be able to pull them out by hand

I had one pop out on me and my car wouldn't move. It scared the ---- out of me. Good advice. I'll bet $5 that is what it is.
