You took off your starter to replace a timing belt?

I think he was trying to wedge something in the flywheel to take the crank pulley off.

I prefer to have someone sit in the car with it in gear and the brakes on, much easier.

I tried, but the clutch was sliping :-[ I used my torque wrench to loose it and the bolt was over 250 ft-lbs...

My already slipping clutch couldn't take this load.

The next step is this damn clutch. I want to do it since like 2 months, but every week something else break and this thing is essential for the car to run.

Anyway, the starter is now in one piece. It was a bitch to put the rotor with the four spring in it :7

I started it today. ---- is starting on 1/4 turn, but it look like the timing is not good.

It looks like the injector put way too much gas, I don't know what is happening.

If I start it and wait 20 sec then stop. I unplug injectors and restart it (read no more gas enter in the cylinder), it start like a new one even if it don't last long 2 sec.

Maybe it's the timing, but it doesnt explain why it runs great when I unplug injectors...

I'll try new things tomorrow ------- around with TE...

That's the way I will learn I guess...

Nice to see I'm not alone ;)

firing order is correct, I'm not sure about the timing. It's -17degree today so I don't want to get out to work on my car lol

I did it at -4, but -17 is a bit too cold to handle metal tools. >:(
