Yea, I know pulling an axle is not hard, but this $100 car was so rusted, that I knew any bolt I took off the suspension was going to break. It did not have an alternator when I got it, so just wanted it on there and that was the safest way to not have to do more work, lol.
loose battery terminals? the alternator alone (without the battery hooked up) can run just about everything in the car and not drop below 13.2volts, so the battery light should havent came on for that.
