what does the tranny axle seal do ?? beacuse on my axle right behind it there is a black grease that it spitting a little out (the boot on the axle) would that have anything to do with it??

 

That seal is so no fluid can leak out of the case between the axle and tranny.

If you are spitting "Greese" that would be a CV problem, (different) Replaced the Boost or clamps if you have a tear.

either take ur car to a shop and most places will replace the boot alone for 70 to 90 bucks...or you can take off the whole axle....buy a remanufactured axles and give them your old one for like 60 bucks and up...depending on brand u buy...

 

well i put the hondabond around it and it stopped the leak.....what is the sea-clip?

 

a sea clip is a metal ring that goes around the end of the axle joint, that hold the axle inside of the tranny.

yeah, and your fucked when the son of a bitch piece of ---- ---- juice suckin ball cheez eatin *** hole lickin piece of placenta gets stuck in the tranny (make sure the clip isn't too big before you install the axle)
