I'm not sure if 94-95 Acura Integra intermediate shaft/axle are the same length as the B16a SiR II (same as Del Sol VTEC motor) And was wondering if anyone can tell me if they are the same or not. I'm not sure what kind of intermediate shaft i have on my B16a SiR II. Because when i bought the motor. THey never gave me any. So i went out and bought it from this place. They wasnt sure what kind of car this intermediate shaft came out of.

They sold it to me cheap! So i bought it anyways cuz i was desperate for one. It bolts right onto my B16a SiR II motor. So i put the driver hand side SiR axle onto the intermediate shaft. It fits prefectly... So i thought everything was cool. But i thought wrong. The axle was going bad. So i went out to buy another axle. I wasn't sure if it's an 94-95 integra intermediate shaft or the 94-95 Del Sol VTEC shaft. So i bought the 94 Acura Integra GSR axle.

The problem now is that whenever i make a turn or U turn. It doesn't make clicking noises. But more like clunking noises and feel the steering wheel jumps a bit when making a turn.

im using the 90-93 integra intermediate but i still have that same problem.but i broke my axle making a hard u-turn.be carefull or u will be replacing that thing.oh and i am using 90-91 integra drive axels. i havent found the right combo besides buying the actuall jdm b16 axles and intermediate.

 

jeff and I are both using 94 up teg axles and intermediate shaft with no problems. you dont have a 94 intermediate shaft because only those axles will work with it my guess is you have a 90-93 teg if so you need those axles you also need to remove the dust seal from the back of the hub.

well, I think i'm using 94+ Del Sol VTEC intermediate shaft but with 94+ Integra GSR axles. I dont think they are compatible. It fits and all but when making a U turn it makes LOUD clunking noises. and the steering wheel seems to jump a bit. and you can actually feel the CLUNKing noise. It feels like a feedback on the axles.

So my question is, is 94+ intermediate shaft compatible with the 94+ Integra GSR axles?

 

BTW, I have a 92 Honda Civic Hatchback. Not 90-93 Integra.

yes i have the same problem.I have broke both my right and left axles.different times...but i need to change to the 94's it seems.but i am still using 90 intermediate and 90 drive axels till then.

 

Oh shiet!!! I didnt know I were suppose to use the B series mounts for the B16a. ------- I'm in big shiet! I'm using the stock 92 Civic h/b CX motor mounts. ------- he told me that CX mounts will work. YES! It works alright. But the Phawking Axle/Intermediate shaft is crooked. No wonder it makes those noises!!!!!
