i would double-check where that oil leak is really coming from before you just go ripping the head off again. It might be migrating down from the cam seal or dizzy

ya those cam seals go down hill after 10 years so a 1st gen b16a needs new one for sure. Buy a cool billet one

that makes sense.. i kinda figured when i turned on the car there would be oil pressure in the engine and cause it to gush oil but it didnt lol and its not even leaking that much.. ----

timing wont be a problem for me tho because i can just mark the belt and cam with paint and not move the crank and booya 8)

Did you set time with a timing light? I just had to do mine after a new cam install. Set everything tdc, car ran, but set timing with a gun, it was 10 degrees retarted and sluggish.

no timing gun.. lol i dont even know how to use a timing gun :(

the rex did something wierd today.. on start up it idled at 3k rpm then went down and held at 2k then after some rippers arround the block as i was coasting into my driveway the lumpy idle ---- started up again.. lol

oh well

what would cause the rex to dump more than half its oil in less than a day?

it dumps smoke from the muffler intermittently...

so heh.. idk.. any ideas? just did a botched head gasket job.. but the car runs and drives fine.. heh
