so.. My friend got a B16 in a 90 integra,, Check engine light isnt on when the car gets turned on, but after driving and getting on it and letting off the gas it comes on and stays on, the car is obd0 and has whichever ecu comes with a b16 with a cable tranny

the code is 5 Fast. pause. 2 Long, then 3 Fast

after the check engine light comes on, the car starts dumping fuel badly, like enough to make your eyes burn,
this car has been filled 5 times in the last 2 days...

what could be the problem

 

Believe the codes are cel 5 and cel 23. Dont know what they mean right now boston is playing and I am tired.

 

Code: 5 = MAP
Code: 23 = Knock sensor.

Try searching. Or better yet tell youtr freind to do a search,since its his car. If you don't know how to check what code your throwing, you should get ride of your car. Don't come onto a baord and make a topic that starts off by bashing another board.

Knowing how to check codes is as easy as checking you oil.
