Default anyone delete your oil breather chamber

just wanted to see if of you HMT'ers have done away with your oil breather chamber? not sure which motors have these, but here's a pic of the one that came off my 1st gen b16 block:

i'm having to give mine the boot to make room for some more important things that can't go anywhere else, and i haven't known anyone thats really messed with these things before.

any info would be appreciated, thanks guys!!

if you toss it, make sure your crankcase has some way to breathe.

i dont think i really feel like paying 160 bucks for the endyn kit, when universal ones go for 70 or so, although i'm sure it's nice.

what i'd really like to know is if there is a plug i could use to plug up the hole from where the breather USED to be and then run the bottom line from a catch can back to it. there a couple things in the picture of the endyn kit that look like about the right size for what i need, i wonder if that's their purpose?
