Polish combustion chamber

Re:Polish combustion chamber
why do you want to polish the combustion chamber? The combustion chamber is as polished as it can alreay be with the pistons always massaging it. I think ou are talking about polishing the head and possibly porting it. You can search about that online but only ask if you have the money to have a machinist do it for you.

Re:Polish combustion chamber
i know what you are talking about. It isnt hard to do. the only hard part is removing the polishing compund from surfaces after polishing is done.
1. take head off.
2.put on bench
3. polish to mirror finish all around so you create a 100% even distribution and you are done with mechanical work. except for putting head back on.
4. take some type of remover and get rid of that abrasive polishing compound.
just imagine a polished piece of aluminum and that is what you shoot for.

Re:Polish combustion chamber
Polish?? So that your valves and piston can see themsleves?
And loose power at the same time?
go to the www.theoldone.com
There you will get some info on porting and polishing.
And why would you want to polish it? No one will see it anyway. yo wasting your time with that.
Porting would be good though if you do it right.
