ok i have STOCK shocks and cheeepy coilovers that sagg and bounce like a son of a bitch.
I want to beef up my suspension, but im only 16 and ive only done so much 1st hand and i really lack in this area..so i need your guy's experience such as what should i buy(springs/shocks/braces?/brands) to stiffen up but keep it suitible for a daily driver AND on a budget. yes its a n00bish thread but i want to get it done right the first time thanks
oh and its an 88, i know there suspension it diff from 89-91

 

ur best bet is some tokico blues and some nice springs .. dont buy cheap ebay coil overs they ------- blow donkey dick.....

 

I've got Tein S-tech springs, and kyb AGX shocks. I've never been happier. O, and if you have any extra money, get the strut/tie bars - they make a big difference.

 

I dont like coil overs period ebay or not, buy a set of decent springs and some tokico or kyb's get the adjustable if you can swing it. I usally run suspension techneqes( holly ---- I cant spell) Cuz I get them cheep and I like the compition ones.

 

Got any pics, wanting to do this setup, but not sure of teh height.

tein stechs make your car an inch lower than stock height. haha. its not even a nice drop but it rides nice. i would go with koni yellows and some ground control coil overs. if not. you can run a full body coilover from omnipower or the progress auto ones. the progress ones are great. my homie has some. u can get em for about 700 bucks

 

i've got s-tech's and tokico blues on my 91 hatch and i am quite impressed
for the price you cant beat them, it dropped the car ~1.25 front and rear

 

yea i got ground control with tokico blues ,suspension technique sways,and auto power roll bar that stiffens it up really good handles like a charm
