300+ ft lbs in a car like that is just plain old fun. Especially when you get it so damn early. Ya nice power for sure... Especially for the boost.... Seems its not port design killing the Hs above 7500 (my tq dives off about there too, and I have a bit of work done but nothing like what I think you guys have going on). ANd you have More agressive cams than do I too....... Cant wait to see what the bitch makes on good gas and big boost. H22s TQ is awesome, even in a heavy bitch like mine... Ive pondered what Itsd be like in a Hatch. Im sure I might pee on my leg a little bit.... |
Re: Xenocron's H22 EG Shop Car, ~400 whp @ 10 psi
Yeah, I should be able to carry the torque higher...could be the intake manifold, could just be that the cams will need a little adjustment as the boost goes up.

Seems to be a commonthing with H22s. Mitches is the same.... he ones Ive seen hold out far had dialed in creep to keep the tq flat... LOL...

Re: Xenocron's H22 EG Shop Car, ~400 whp @ 10 psi
I say go for 500 whp on a stock map sensor. I wouldnt be shocked to see another 30 whp with a larger throttle body/box plenum manifold.

Re: Xenocron's H22 EG Shop Car, ~400 whp @ 10 psi
whats the real deal on stock map sensors? i have seen a range of people saying 9psi to 15psi

Re: Xenocron's H22 EG Shop Car, ~400 whp @ 10 psi
It only reads up to about 10 psi, but you can boost higher, it will just read the final fuel value in the map.
So what you can do is richen up the last boost column and boost a little bit higher than 10 psi. It's not really too safe or precise but it can be done. |
