what i'm curious about is the spark problem...

are you using dizzy still? or wasted? or cop?

at what rpm do you get this drop out, and at what pressure ratio can you adjust dwell using your choice of ecu whatever it is? a bit more wont hurt if its at lower rpms that it occurs.

good luck with the new motor! i bet you get 500whp on it. at 2.2l and 8k with cams, you bloody ought to! :-) go for it!
Its not a 90, if you see the pistons they are SUPER thin in some areas ans sharp as ----, and that creates hot spots. most engine builders will sand them all nice and smoother. Just look on the outer sides by the valve reliefs... mos thtem time after making big power those will be melted down even if it hasnt detonated or ran lean.

Josh is absolutely correct on the B series pistons ....they have had issues with the valve reliefs being to close to the outer diameter of the piston... They are (were- its been fixed) virtually paper thin on the b pistons....and they get fucked up. Not an issue with the H pistons. Trust me i researched... The Endyn design is superior. Period.... BUT im not willing to risk running themn again after 1 set ------- up. Id really like to see the metalurgy pof the endyns supposed higher silicon content than the wiseco slugs... Im not buying it and curious as to what JD thinks..... The CPS will be fine... 10s OFTHOUSANDS of people use them without incedent.

People should research before they open their mouths.

On the H pistons (if you look) theres more material between the two. The newer MODIFIED B series CP pistons that adress the issue have the outer edge of reliefs kind of ground down.. but even then they dont have as much material as the hs do simply due to the fact of the amount of material there to start with. As for the sharp edges, yes its true... sharp edges are prone to detonation, and had I had the pistons in my hands for a while, i would have done some sanding.. BUT, there are COUNTLESS people running unmodified CPS in H motors making great power.

It wont be an issiue. Ill gladly sacrafice a few horsepower for something more reliable. Ive spent the money to have this ------- tyhing last, if it doesnt this time...Ima sell the ******. I still am willing to bet that I get at LEAST 475 WHP on pump... and thats fine by me!!!!

Oh ya, all you dumb ***** who dont know...valve reliefs are cut at an angle.... therefore greater than 90 degrees.. (obtuse)... There are NO acute (less than 90 degree anngles) on the pistons anywhere... What Josh was talking about is that the edges being abrupt rather than rounded promote detonation... well they dont really promote it, its more that sanding them down to a rounder edge resists it more.

Regardless... Motors Blingin from top to bottom by my standards.. As is Teh l;azy boy, as are teh Aluminum 3" charge pipes, and teh custom backdoor FMIC... we done good and oh yess more vids to come in a couple weeks.... Hope to see some of you nigs at BOTI, hopefully i can find some slicks to borrow... Im goiing to be brioke till sept when i go back to work....

LOL

I cut the thin edge of the piston between the intake valve relief and the outer circumference completely out of my pistons.

I have little experience with H22 piston longevity, I can could the >300 whp H22s I've tuned on both hands. Eight hours earlier than right now and I could count them on one hand.

I am suspicious of any claims Mister Endyn makes. He's got a history of building some fast as hell ----, knowing his ----, and talking about a bunch of dumb ---- he made up to make himself look like a badass. If you are curious about their content have them sent off for testing is my advice.

I have a wiesco piston in my garage.. They dont expand as much. thats why the endyne instructions say WAY less p/w clearance.
