first of all, taking roids doesn't mean you're lazy, you still have to lift just as much as work just as hard, if not harder. and yes, if you're working out 5 times a week, you're more than likely over doing it, you should give your muscles five days of rest before the next work out and try to work muscles on the same day that use the same secondary muscles, that's how you're suppose to make your work out plan. on the off days, do cardio. i don't car how long you've been lifting, i lifted for 3 years just like you working out about 5-6 times a week for about 1-2 hours a day, once i reached a certain size, i got no bigger for almost a year until i started working out 3 times a week, 1 hour a day, and noticed gains in a month that would have taken 6 mos. before. less is more! it doesn't matter how long you've been working out, that doesn't mean that you know everything and are doing everything right. it's a proven fact.

another best advice given. People dont understand that lifting weights is the easy part of getting big. Anyone can do that. it takes devotion to eat the right amount of food and rest thats the hard part. How many can makes sure you eat 6 times a day? how many of you can sleep 8 hours a day? Your muscles grow when you sleep and rest not when your lifting weights

people dont realize that roids help you recover faster so you can work out more
you still have to eat...its the ONLY way to make muscle
eat alot and rest
simple
if you stop gaining weight...eat more
you have to keep track of your diet (calories, protein, and carbs)to see if you plateau
am i right here?

Very true eating is a huge part of it, and don't they like serve you a given meal in the military, meaning you can't eat more if you wanted to. Cause if you want to gte big you need at least 3500 calories per day and even more if you're on gear.

I have been reading, searching through ----, so far I have come up with this,and its pretty much whateveryone else is sayin.

1. come up with a routien that fits you. hard 45 min, 3 times a week.
2. eat, eat and eat. lots of calories, but good calories. and make sure i get a balanced diet.
3. rest. sleep and give my muscles time for rest.

does that sound right? its pretty much what everyone else is sayin to...

after about 6 weeks of stayin with this, i will begin to notice differences, and i will be able to tweak my routien at that time.

You can over do it by liftin 5 times a week if your sore daily. Soreness comes from latic acid in your muscle. once teh latic acid is gone, you can become more fluent. After lifting for about 7 years, you can go 5 times a week or even more. At this point, youre not tryin to gain numerous amounts of muscle mass, youre trying to MAINTAIN it, therefore, youre not over doing it. When you start to lessen your workout, then you start to lose defenation and strenght.
