How is your oil pressure?
Just wondering because someone else I know is having troubles with really high oil pressures and think it's due to the kaizenspeed balance shaft eliminator kit.
I'd like to hear your input on it.

And what psi it tops out at.

Id venture to say that the BS eliminator will definately raise pressure... I never had this motor running before i built it... BUT:
cold idle: 70ish psi
hot idle: 10-15ish psi
Max Hot: 80 psi
i believe my Oil pRess guage to be pretty accurate!!
Nope that helps... Id kind of like to see a bit more at idle (my car idles about 900), but whatever....

Setup:
- Endyn modified new OEM oil pump
- Kaizenspeed balance shaft removal kit
- Mechanical gauge hooked up to Greddy oil block adapter, in 1/8 NPT port next to Autometer oil psi gauge sender unit
Pressure Results:
- Cold engine start, 95 psi at 1800-2000 rpm
- Fully warm, 80-85 psi at 1300-1500 rpm
- Fully warm, max 105 psi by 4000 rpm (it will not exceed, pressure relief activates)
- Nothing more than 105 psi revved beyond 4000 rpm (~5000 rpm).

He idles so high because of his cam.
I'll give him your specs. You're running stock oil pump, right?

I'd never worry about to high, even if it was in the 100-110 range.

Uhm
Around 130 psi is where pressure bursts around the oil filter seal and you lose 3 qts down the back of your block in a couple seconds.
