how do i know? mine was exactly that before i turbocharged it.

My 96' Non-Pi mod motor ran a 14.5@100mph with just a catback and gears. No headers, full interior and everything. I have the worst mod motor and if we raced my car would win (according to what you posted) and I have less done than your non-turbo 5.0

The mod motors are not slow compared to the 5.0's.

All I have to say is if I had an engine that big and I wasn't faster than mid 14, I'd be sad.

3800 lb Cobra / 500 whp = 7.6 lbs per hp, since V makes 300 whp that works out to >7.6 whp/hp * 300 = 2280 lbs. He weighed the car with himself in it and it tips the scales at ~2100 lbs.

No, the SN95 4.6 were dogshit that ran high 16's off the showroom floor. The later SN99 4.6 were decent engines.

Hope that clears some stuff up for you, Johnny. HTH.

Wow dude, why are you insulting me? I just replied to a comment saying my car was a "built junker"
why the hell are you so jumpy, chill out, smoke a doobee crack a beer, i wasnt attacking you.

As for the stickers in back, im only running a TurboBricks.com 1000hp sticker and a Volvo Club of Quebec that is about 455WHP, its crazy, i couldnt believe it when i stuck it in the rear window, the difference it made, it was crazy!

might not yet be a 12sec car, but im planning a head swap during the winter (as the Red volvo is a summer car), my engine is only 8 valves and Single Overhead cam, like i said its bored to 2.4L and the base and head are planned, yet im looking for a 16valve head, which is DOHC and with the proper turbo manifold, done properly (as this type of engine never really existed thus the non existence of these 16v turbo parts) it could get around 500-600hp if the timing is properly done and the computer doesent cut out (im also looking into MSv3).

But it was just a comment, that my car is faster than a Mustang GT, hell, any stock mustang. And i dont think you need to be hating and insulting my car and calling me some sort of Hippy for driving a Volvo. You need to get out of your shell you insecure -----.

In the case of the video, this was just some kid in a mustang that put down 537rwhp on a dynojet, and was going around town telling EVERYONE that he had the fastest car in the city.

V's civic put down 298.5whp on a Dynamics dyno (typically reads about 12% or so lower) on 13.5psi. The first race was on 6psi just to see how he would do against Kyle (Mustang owner). As you can see, they were basically side by side with the civic about a bumper ahead. The second race was on 9.5psi, and as you can see the race was a little different. The civic was pulling VERY hard and the mustang didn't stand a chance. Keep in mind that the mustang was also on BFG drag radial that night and the civic was on shitty khumos. Either way, the guy in the mustang seemed pretty cool and gave props to the civic as well as the crx (race is on another video I have), and we gave the same love back for making his numbers with a basically stock cobra minus bolt-ons. So it's all in good fun!

Props to JD for street tuning the car, and some fun times (ie pranking Mase).

there are a few stock mustangs that will beat your car easily.

terminator
gt500
old gt350
old gt500
cobra r
etc...

your car if fine, but saying mustangs are slow cause your modded car beat a stock one not impressive.
