stock RX-7 turboII - 14.3
-no power steering, no a/c, no emmissions.

exhaust + intake + ported wastegate + (manual boost controller [homemade]) + s/s act clutch + electric radiator fan + HKS FCON + boost boost boost (race gas)
RX-7 TurboII - 12.2 on micky t (drag slicks)

t62-1 + microtech stand alone system + same weight + pump of gas + diy water injection + electronic boost controller + 6 puck act clutch (going back to four puck) my 6 puck kill'd my master cylinder a million times + etc
RX-7 TurboII - 10.98 @ 128 mph

i think i would be able to hit 10.5 soon because my MPH was pretty high meaning i could work on my driving, it's pretty impossible to shift into second when your first gear redlines in a blink of an eye. i shift at 7.0k usually and my engine makes engine all the way to 8.5k but for safty reason i don't want to ---- with it right now, pretty much broke out of money, and i tune my engine to rev limit at 8, so it flies to eight in first gear super quick, more times at the track i'll be hitting mid 10s.

edit: 10 sec run was about 25 PSi i have about 500HP+ under my belt, my engine going let go soon i just know it, i didn't dowel this ---- or nothing, this is on a stock engine that has about 80k miles. i blew my rebuilt ported engine because i fucked up on my street tuning, how horrible, and too broke to buy anything new so bought me a used engine off my friends crash 7s.

stock drive train too..so i slip the clutch and never drop the clutch, i kinda sacrafice my 60 foot times kinda for it but at the end i own all them street cars!

I'm a mazda tech. and I'm the only one in my shop thats actually like RX-7's everyone else avoids them. Well here's mine :
91' Civic HB Dx
JDM DOHC ZC motor , 88' Si trans , ACT Streetlite Flywheel , ACT stage#3 clutch ( Basicly a stage 3 since ACT doesn't have stages ) , Short intake , Full exhaust , Stock ZC headers. 15.01 was my best sofar. I usually am very consitant ( damn I can't spell ) and run 15.2' all night long but when I ran 15 flat it felt ggod as hell and I knew it was gonna be a good run but have not been able to break 15.2 again yet. Crappy 60 ft's can't remember cause this was back in the beginning of winter and I'm waiting to find time to run at the track with my new HMT set-up.

Re:1/4 Mile Times Post....

17.3 seconds w/ 185/60 tires (bald on the inside... bad) with 140000 miles on my clutch (also quite bad) and synthetic tranny oil (synchros don't work right like that... pull so hard trying to get into gear it broke the back off the shifter pivot thing) and then the excuses stop because there's no excuse for going that slow.

Turbo goes on tonight. Bad ass ceramic header w/ DSM t25, a dizzm bove, and the fuel deal is almost done. I'll try to get some pics and maybe lower times, too???

well last night 6/6/03 10:17pm i went to moroso.

r/t-.693
1/4-16.43

I think i could of done much better. i think my problem was that i couldn't take off right. i kept pealing out like CRAZY. I was running with 14/185 tires. people where telling me that i should run with 15/205 tires and might get my 1/4 to a low 15. the track feels much, much harder to take off.

One thing i don't understand is on the street i can beat a stock gsr. and there running low 15's.

Re:1/4 Mile Times Post....

Well I took mine out to the track for the first time tonight since it was turbo'd. Car is a 94 civic ex coupe automatic w/ a full i nterior minus spare and jack running .62bar(roughly 8.5-8.8psi) on shitty 205-40-16 falken ze502's. The best I could muster after 13 runs was...
60' ... 2.446
330 ... 6.610
1/8 ... 9.995
mph ... 72.01
1000 .. 12.938
1/4 ... 15.401
mph ... 91.82

My best 60' of the day was a 2.436 and my best trap was 93.5mph. Hopefully I can hit 14.9s next week on a different set of wheels(195-60-14's)to help me improve those shitty 60 ft times, open dp(I ran an apexi rs catback with the stock cat tonight so I'm thinking it was restricting me a little), and finding a way to increase flow to my dsm smic(upper ic pipe was very hot to the touch).
