not too shabby, but I believe Jeff ran a 13.6 (or .7) on stock zc at like 10 psi... and then again he ran a 12.9 on his built zc with a small T3 turbo at 12 psi... (with slicks) I like ZC's for some reason... and I like them better when they have a built bottom end too ;D

http://www.pgmfi.org/~foowee/pop The boost went from 11 to 15psi when the line broke on the way to the track. I said to my self,"well if it did it on the way here, I'm sure it can do it again." Well at about 1000ft bang, tiiitiiititiitiiiititicikciititicicii............. . By the time I came to a stop, a little past the 1320 and got out of the car I still could not see the start line because of the smoke. The funny thing is the engine started again after the run.... just all the oil spraying on the turbine housing caused a small fire. This was 4.75psi beyond the stock map sensor's range. No melted pistons :)..... Looks like it's time for some vitara pistons, beefy rods, an obx diff, motorola 2.5 bar map, and a bigger compressor :). Oh, yeah the only accurate number I got was the 1/8 mile trap speed: 87, 2mph better than my best run before. |

I did another run today:
React: 0.580 60ft: 2.295 660: 10.044 mid mph: 66.67 mph: 81.67 ET: 15.876 Spinning badly in first gear, this was the only run of the day that made sense, I have a bad component in the ECU so it always resets and shuts off for half a second in first gear. |

ok guys we went to NYIRP on wed...
with my 97 Civic DX 4 door with no back seats I ran a 14.9 w/2.36... LS/Vtec untuned street tires Roland's 88 Lude Si with S/R air intake (no filter)ran 16.01 (cant remember 60 ft) Jakes 93 Civic EX 4 door on stock/oversized 14s and bad rings on his LS/Vtec pulled a 15.2 with 2.4/2.3 60fts, street tires untuned |

Finally got to the track!
R/T .343 60' 2.400 330 6.236 1/8 9.187 MPH 84.69 1000 11.710 1/4 13.824 MPH 107.51 TERRIBLE traction problems..running DOT stickys. (Yokohama a008-r) Could sort of launch at 3700 but pull tires loose as soon as I get spool, spinning tires most of second, and when I get to third the tires finally grab, but then the STOCK clutch was slipping. Time to buy more parts! running 9.5 psi. (keep in mind this is in Denver..5600 ft.) untuned uberdata P30 map and NO timing retard in boost (no ping at all...thank you altitude) ;D |

Update on my fabulous times.
19.8 followed up by a 19.3. Both had about a 2.8 60'. At first my clutch wouldn't grab until I let off and eased back onto the gas in second. Then the second run I just sat there spinning, missed second (trans just about to blow), and clutch slipped again. :'( * '88 prelude si 4ws, b20a5 truck motor (aka chevy 305) The tranny has been on its last leg since I got it, grinds like a mofo. And the clutch was toasted at about the same time. But I'm a student and can't find the time to replace the bitch. |
