but everyone has a mustang :P

yea, just like everyone has a honda ::)

preference is key, let the man decide. mustangs are also fairly easy to mod, just like imports

the only reason i wouldnt buy a mustang is what ive heard from other people, they dont last long if you mod them.

parts break too easily. ofcourse this could just be some bullshit that my friends give me but hey, who am i to say.

ive never even owned one before.

just dont get an suv :-X

Mustangs are cheap as hell to build. My friend might be actually selling his 92 hatch its a high 11 sec low 12 car. He wants 5-6 grand for it I can get some pics and ---- up and list of ---- done. and oh ya it passed emissions last week

i have been starting to think about that too, but i wonder how dependable they are when you start ------ with them. there is a salesman at my dealership that always has his in the shop with MAFS issues and other misc. problems, and his is stock :o

Do what a local here did, buy the 1.8t, sell the turbo/buy a new one, upgrade to larger injectors, do some chipping and be running everyone around :P

IMO
if you want a little beater/race car that you are going to modify/---- with . i would spend no more than 9000 on it.

with 10 grand or more i would buy something nice, keep it stock so it will last a good 10 years without giving me any problem.

this thread sucks, new mustangs are ugly and heavey,
VWs are shitty and have a bunch of stupid expensive problems
new cars suck unless free,

do something original with 25k, it'll be more fun to have the a spec street car (meaning the same ---- as everyone else)...
