That never happens. UPS/FEDEX have a similar process. They believe it is up to the counter person/shipper not to be a ---- stick and half ass packing items or let them ship. Its amazing how many things you buy off people who cant spend 2 bucks on tape and free newspaper. The usps knows this and why they wont do ---- about it they would have to hire 20,000 new people just to deal with all the tards who cant pack an item. A product should only be damaged if the box looks like it has gone through world war 2 which isnt going to happen. Are they going to be thrown around, moved thousand of miles on trucks/planes. YUp, thats why you pack an item correctly and nothing will get broken.

Yup.

UPS told me, unless they package it, it isn't guaranteed to get there safely. Doesn't really make sense to me because I don't see how they track who packaged it, but on the other hand it makes sense they shouldn't be responsible for people that don't know how to properly package their items.

One time, I sent a couple monitors to someone, when they received it there were what looked like forklift puncture holes and all the peanuts all fell out. He said something to the delivery person as soon as he got it and they got it figured out, but I don't know what process he had to go through.

The company I worked for last would sometimes get damaged shipments. Small boxes with tens of thousands worth of lcds or other parts would arrive damaged. They shipper tried to say it wasn't their fault and we have to check all packages before signing. Well, when you receive 40-80 pallets of boxes at a time, it's ridiculous they expect you to check everything, and the deliverer sure as hell doesn't want to wait for you to go through it all. Ended up they paid though, the company spends thousands daily on shipping, they'll have to suck it up.

The last 1.5 pages of this thread are failing. I was hoping for some legitimate fuel economy minded conversation. Not crackheads who cant package ----.

Fuel economy mods/ideas.

Go.

Between what I read from BAC, pissnuts, and ohsoslow I've concluded that I would never let them near any car that has anything to do with me.

Pissnuts the going rate on GOOD used forgings is a hundred fifty I buy 3 or 4 sets a year they should look new under the carbon and have at most minor polishing of the skirts Neither you or BAC know about engine building which is fine ---- happens but I let BAC know early on they were shitcanned before he shipped them and all I have gotten is jerked around not cool and not the way I treat anyone when I make a mistake

I call them the AFC dipshits, because that's all they (care to) know and they praise it like it's their god.
