High compression Y5s are just a really elaborate attempt to recreate the ZC.

Re: JD's assault on a 50+ mpg daily driver.
I haven't even attempted the wideband leanburn setup out of sloth. I've been running open loop, lots of fuel taken out of the part throttles and TPS enrichment fiddled so it doesn't spike rich, the engine just goes to target AFR with no hiccoughs.
35.4 mpg the last in-city tank, 42 mpg the mast mixed city/highway tank. I haven't had a pure highway measurement since my original 48 mpg cruise to and from TN but I am fairly confident I'm hitting the 50 number if not a little past it. |
Re: JD's assault on a 50+ mpg daily driver.
nice i just put a z6 in my crx with y5 cam+valvetrain.. and i didnt have a z6 IM so i put a std d15 one.. and a ls tb on it you think the skinny runners and bigger tb.. will screw with my mpg (thats all i had laying around had to put it to use)
