AH, my mistake. Thought you were referring to something I said, because I think I mentioned technology at one point.

Anyhow, would much rather have a NA big displacement v8 than an already-boosted smaller v6 that's practically the same performance.

The vette has shittons more potential, and looks better IMO.

Nothing against some of the older cars, but the C5 was a HUGE improvement. Comparatively the C6 isn't a whole lot better, it does come with some awesome engine/package options, but the backbone of the car isn't much improved.

I agree with you JD but the c5zo6 left much to be desired, ls6 aint much better than ls1, but the ls7 is far far better than the ls2/3

c4 was junk (based on its appearance, not facts) so the c5 would have sucked without a big improvement.

The c5 and c6 might be pretty similar - but doesn't the z06 have ceramic brakes, lighter weight, more power, better fuel economy, uses carbon fiber, some fancy electronic suspension, pretty much everything improved? The c6 received quite a bit of praise and it did improve everything about the previous model.

Anyone seen the corvette concept in transformers 2?

the c5 and c6 are very very very different cars.

Dosent matter what you queers say. No way in hell a 7.0 should be compaird to 3.7 v6 with two tiny *** turbos. That is just obserd. Sure, the nissan motor is more "advanced" but the ls7 is ------- huge.

It is similar to compair a Altima SER to a 1.8t Jetta. The 1.8t is more advanced, but the car will be smashed by the Altima, stock for stock. You would have to give the Jetta a bigger turbo, or more boost, then it would be fair.


Some would say 'No replacment for displacment'(true) wile others think that technology is the replacment. Well through that same technology on a bigger motor, and it will out preform.


Any way, to call the GTR trash cause a fiberglass car with a 7L beast of a ------- motor beat it is ignorant.

DOnt think im some GTR 'fanboi' I personally like the vette beter.

I believe it was the riceboys that compared the zo6 to the gtr, anyone who knows anything knew the gtr would be far from comparable to the zo6
