Re: Your first turbo project......
my first project barely boosted! hahhaha.
Car: 94 Integra LS sedan
Egay cast Manifold. Flange warped to ----, little did i know at the time. i ran it anyways
Garret T3 .48/.60
Blitz SS BOV
DSM 450cc injectors
JRC intercooler
Intercooler piping made up of a CAI. and random bends and couplers i pulled off turbo Volvos at junkyards
2.5" downpipe
it barely boosted. i was only seeing 3lbs of boost. Lasted 3-4 weeks. then i switch to a much more solid set up. used a KRB fab log. and switched to a 38mm wastegate (turbonetics)
Ran great after that. and hauled ***.
here's a pic of the first set-up. the real shitty set up.

Still running good, but................fixing to run better...............it's going to under go a big make over, this time with a real budget, and with name brand parts..................because................ I'm going to be developing and fabbing the prototype for a production kit for a large company!!!!!!!!!!! Not going to go into details but I'm stoked!!!

Re: Your first turbo project......
Mine was my '90 LX sedan.
OBD1, uberdata and then cromepro
D16z6
t3/t04b s-trim turbo, .48ar stg1 exhaust
garrett internal wastegate, ported 3/8" (the 3-bolt hole, not flapper hole)
60mm TB
780cc Seimens Deka injectors
HF mani w/home-made adapter to keep AC in car
JRC 6" fmic
self-made 2.5" charge piping
self-made 3" DP
self-made 3" exhaust
self-made oil and vacuum manifolds
Basicly everything done by myself, welded by myself. 1psi at 3k, 10psi at 4k, pulled on Subies and v8 camaros from a roll - with the LX tranny.
Ran great till I parked it 2 months ago, as its front end is smashed. Some -----bag decided to pull out in front of me from a side street, I switched lanes and braked, but she decided to merge directly into that far lane. Basicly broke 2 laws, but the cop thought I was speeding. As luck would have it, I saw that bitch driving not too long ago, so I followed her for 30mins, waited, pissed on her car (tried to ----, couldn't ), and dented a few panels before someone noticed. Revenge is sweet.
