how much psi is the boost at 5k rpm? there is a section that you can use a boost cut in uberdata maybe you are using it and not aware... its in rev limits tab under full throthle launch section..

sounds like it could be blowing the spark out. make sure your plugs are gapped correctly. on my friend's turbo z6 running a t3/t4 it would do that around 4.5k-5k, gapped the plugs down to around .030 down from the OEM gap of about .035 and never had any more problems with it.

mostly 7-8 are used across hmt guys i saw some use 9 when they also have nos not sure though if that is your problem.. first regap your plugs to 0.03.. if it still does the samething look at your uberdata bin for FTL or just post the bin here so we can have a look at it

hmm, i just reread it and if it was plug gapping, it would still rev past 5k, it'd just feel like it was detonating badly. if it wont rev past 5k, im gonna say its something to do with the uberdata bin fine. post it up.
