Default What turbo to go with now?

Since my Riveria T-Type T3 (undersized GN turbo) shot craps im looking for something to replace it. I could go with an actuall GN Turbo which would work good on my 3.7L 230ci Inline 6 but what would my other options be in that range? K26 too small? HX35?

what sort of hp are you planning? at what boost? and what rpm? how goods the ve on those engines?

given that its old schoolish, an hx35 would probably be quite good for that size engine. thats good for 500hp approx.

300-350hp is what were shooting for, 15psi and about 5000rpm max. The VE on these is alright but exact numbers i am unsure of.

+1 on the HX35 its pretty close to what you need and will def make the power your looking for.

15 - 25psi is where holsets tend to be properly efficient. 300 - 500 is the power range, so if you go that route, it should on your engine be plenty responsive, and have a decent amount of headroom if you change your mind :-) hy35, and he351cw like mine also. all different, but all very similar. the hy/he are more modern, and slightly larger, and have a smaller exhaust side for quicker spool. that might be a bad thing for the big donk. not too sure. cant really go wrong for the $$ and reliability of a commercial unit though. 360deg thrust bearings std on all models :-)
