Well after off roading in my 96 hatch, an hour or two later, my CEL comes on and my speedo bounces around. Ok I think I got to check: fuses, grounds, O2 or VSS Connectors or wires, and last but not least gear thingy inside the transmission for the VSS. Is that everything I check?

*it was a fuse for the VSS* but my new integra radiator fell out and got destroyed today and had to go to junkyard and spend $50 for a civic one which is held on with zipties until my other integra one gets in, lesson learned: dont go offroading or fabricate better radiator mounts

I had that problem once. I replaced the cluster and it went away.

check wires on back of cluster.

Then deal with it. :P I would think at 400,000 miles the whole ------- car needs to be replaced. :P

just put a new engine around christmas. now all i need are axles and shocks. all shocks are blown now iam waiting for axles to explode

What's the point of waiting for it to hit 400,000 miles if it's not the actual mileage?

This is a CX right? What motor did you put in it?

dunno feel like seeing the speedo at 400k, i put a d16y7 out of a 2000(auto) with 40k on it. all 96-00 CX,DX,LX are the same engine D16Y7's
