He is right, on a new or rebuilt turbo it is best to run the lines. It is relatively cheap and easy insurance....but if you have a cheap used turbo, like me, then it really dosnt matter if you kill it prematurly. I have been running without coolant lines for a couple months now.

Dont get me wrong, I have watercooled almost all our setups, its very easy to do, and good insurance. I was just saying that I have seen people do it without problems.
