Default Wastegate problem

I brought thie external wastegate HKS style 40mm w/ adjustable boost control . There is an adjustment screw that is supposed to be in the middle that is missing, to adjust when the WG is to open and
The port beside is for advanced boost control, usually for people using CO2 to control boost. Can I just plug the hole for the boost control , if I didn't want to use one. And is it safe to plug the screw hole or do I need to buy a new wastegate. (bought off ebay )Here is a pic
