Default Oil feed question..

First off, please don't rape me or call me a ------/ negroid etc because I searched and couldn't find anything to do with my question. Okay, first off I have a LS/VTEC setup (B16 head/B18A1 block) I'm running the Golden Eagle sandwhich plate and I have stealthmode oil supply lines. I was wondering, the GE sandwhich plate has a 1/8" BSPT port on it and like a 6an or something port for the head..the 1/8" port has a allen screw plug in it, so what I was wondering is can I run my oil pressure sensor/aftermarket gauge tee off from that 1/8" port on the sandwhich plate, and the head supply line off from the sandwhich plate, and run my turbo feed directly out of the block to the turbo? does anyone see any problems with that?

Im no expert but why cant you keep everything going off the sandwitch adapter instead of going off the block? No more spaces? I just wouldent want more areas taking oil from the block and starving the block of oil.

Just run the oil feed of the GE plate and leave the stock oil pressure sender alone

It doesn't matter where you're taking this or that from, just make sure the oil pressure is at a good range. If you're worried about the block/head not getting enough oil, you can restrict the flow to the turbo, and of course the gauge won't do anything to the pressure.

Well thats why I wanted to keep the ports that are sending oil out seperate, so nothing gets starved...is there enough pressure coming out of my oil filter plate to keep the head and turbo in good shape?(with a b16 oil pump)

On a serious note..HMT kicks ------- ***. You guys cut the bullshit and answer questions. I would have gotten bitched at on Honda-tech because I had an unreliable LS/VTEC or something if I asked that question.

Regardless of which area you pull the oil from, there's only one oil pump that supplies those ports. Either way, it's not going to matter.

For the oil flow, you should be fine. I'm not an oil pump specialist, but double checking the pressure (on your gauge) and possibly restricting the turbo feed a little (it won't need much oil to stay alive) could take some work off the pump. You'd have to ask someone smart like JD if any of my theory actually means any difference.
