Go for the T4 Cmon, its a B series engine that has been bored over and running over sized pistons. Rebuild your top end and lag will not be a concern for you. Get your red line up to 9500 and you will be happy you went with the T4. Build yourself a drag car

My top end isn't really the problem i Got the revs up to 9600. It the bottom end im concerned about. I was gonna buy a whole new block built already Turbo ready. I was talking to Sparkracing and he might give me a good deal. Im not to sure though. I really just want to keep my block but the CR is way to high is all N/A. I think im gonna go with the T3/04 but not positive yet I wanna build this ---- really nice. Can any1 who views this thread just throw in some input i really wanna get started. I would really appreciate anything from any1

Re:Wanna get my B18C Turbo project started need input
I just have some last minute questions be4 i start it's coming soon.
1. How hard is it to swap the block and install ARP bolt? Is there anyway to do it w/o removing the motor.? any1 have detailed intructions how to swap a b18C block?
2. Anyone know the rough sizeing and angles for the mandrel piping on the turbo in a civic DX?
3.MOST IMPORTANT T3 SUPER 60/ OR T3/04 ??
If anyone could help out it would really be appreciated
Thanks a lot guys

Re:Wanna get my B18C Turbo project started need input
it's not too hard to swap an engine. my first and only time, it took me 1 day. and when i was done, i said "damn i want to do that again". just look at the manuals for a b series engine (acura, civic si, etc.) and follow the engine removal/installation instructions.
enine swap:
1. drain coolant
2. unhook coolant/heater hoses
3. unhook throttle cable/clutch cable
4. unhook harness from driver and passenger side of car
5. unhook any vacuum lines and any other lines/cables from engine
6. support engine
7. take axles out of tranny/intermediate shaft
8. take off shift linkage
9. loosen/remove mount bolts
10. drop engine
11. drink a beer
arp head stud install:
1. take head off of block
2. remove old head studs
3. install arp head studs
4. replace head gasket
5. replace head and torque to spec
6. drink a beer
intercooler/charge pipes:
1. get at least 3-4 90° bends
2. get at least 2 40° bends
3. one good section of straight(maybe)
4. visualize where the pipes will be running, and cut them
5. drink a beer
turbo:
1. always get the biggest turbo you can afford
2. drink a beer while you stare at your new turbo
