if u take the wheels off it will need to be balanced. Its 26 bucks to have majestic balance it.

It belongs to a guy I know and I want to buy the turbo, but he said it just got new seals put in it at a local place (here in Halifax NS) and was not balanced because we have to send them away to get balanced (Montreal I believe). I want to buy it but at the same time I don't want ---- to fall apart when it's on the car, nor do I want to have to spend a whole lot of cash getting it balanced.

Turbos spin at 80,000 RPMs. Get it balanced or it won't last. I have seen unbalanced turbos shake the shafts in half. I have even seen pieces of fin wind up in the motor!
