Default WTF?? Can an unbalanced crank cause rear main seal/oil leak?

I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I had this problem ever since I put my B18A1 together. I already pinpointed the leak is coming from the rear main seal. I replaced the seal already once (pain in the ***). The seal still leaks and I can only think of 3 things:

1: I never sent the crank out for balancing and I used brand new standard sized bearings. I thought if I measure the journals with a dial caliper and it comes up within the limits its ok. Came up within-spec so I thought it was good.

2: When I replaced the seal I didnt use the ACURA special tool # 0734250876?()**82)**8$#34098324$-- LOL to drive it in square, instead I just tapped in a circular motion with a small rubber hammer. I followed the procedure from the factory manual something like .020"-.030" of space between the back of the seal and the seal case that holds the seal.

3: I saw a double groove in the crank where the seal rides on. So maybe the seal wore a groove in the crank and it just does not seal anymore?

I have plans to run a t3,turboedit, 3 bar map maybe, 12-15 psi, oil cooler and I dont need any oil press drops. I think the proper thing to do is just take it apart, send the crank out, get new bearings all over again and rebuild the entire block "The right way"
AAAAAAARRRRGH please help. Let me know what you guys think
Thanx in advance

You know what I just threw it in the trash, never looked @ the old one. But I think its a combination of the seal not sitting right and the crank needing to be replaced

if you could feel that groove with your fingernail, then it was a problem. if you couldn't, it wasn't.

so far as an unbalanced crank goes. does your engine try to shake you to death in the upper RPM's? if it does, you've got problems. if you dont' notice it more then any other honda.. don't worry. Trust me, you will know when it's unbalanced.

I think I am going to leave it alone until I get my turbo set up and blow the motor anyway.hehe
Thanx a lot guys, great help.
Since we are on the subject of leaks, I am getting a leak of transaxle fluid out of the passenger side axle seal in the tranny, I think I might just change the seal, but I already changed it like 4 months ago. It seems funny but the axle sticks out of that side a little too much. so much so that I can see the part that the seal rides on. When I go to click it in-and-out of the tranny to check that the clip is holding it in, it clicks normally (the ol' in/out if you know what I mean) hehe
