When I built the damn thing people didn't even know if it would work so there was nothing to compare it to and I took a big risk by building it. This kit definitely got more attention than I ever could have imagined and actually made people think outside the realm of the typical Honda-Tech standard. Jeff's kit seems a little more accepted in the Honda community than my kit is probably becuase He doesn't call everyone at Honda-Tech ******* and *********** and tell them to go ---- themselves.
Its nice to see somebody else give it a shot and hopefully improve on the idea, because that is really why we are all here, share info, learn from others and improve. Yeah a twin turbo may be a little more work but at least now people don't have a hissy fit when the idea is brought up. Hopefully this is a step foreward in the Big boost and low budget department. Once people stop think of a TT kit as just a "show piece" and maybe an actual practical solution to create a high boost setup with a REAL WORLD budget. Yeah an SC61 is the best way to go to make power but I live in the real world where I have bills and enjoy the fabrication more than the paying other people shitloads of money for car parts and I know alot of other people here feel the same way. This is why I'm a HMT member and not a Honda-Tech member.
So if anybody else wants to do a TT kit, go buy a case of beer, break out the welder and get building. Becuase this hobby is supposed to be fun, not just a massive money pit
Plus, mine's faster than Jeff's anyways so its all good :P
