Re:Twin Turbo D16Z6 Finished with PICS
Damn! That ---- is sweet as hell!! Somebody got me wondering when they asked the question. If you tried to do a sequential setup, how much extra ---- would have to go into that. (cut off to the small turbo, all the valves and crap, you know...like a supra..) It sure seems like it would get complicated as hell. Do you think about the sequential thing at all?

Re:Twin Turbo D16Z6 Finished with PICS
Well here's an update, I finally got around to putting an exhaust on the car. Its got a flowmaster Y-pipe into 3 inch exhaust going into a Hooker 3inch muffler. It smokes a little under the hood so I tried needle valves and it help a little but still smokes. I'm going to try thicker oil and that better work.
Thats about it, I have a pretty badass idea about another kit and if I decide to do it I'm probably going to sell this one of ebay but thats a big maybe becuase the car runs perfect the way it sits now. the only thing that pisses me off about it is the smoking from underneath the hood.

Speaking of the devil...
What are the A/R's of the compressor and turbine housings? Can you post some pictures of how the sequential setup in between the turbos? Also if you have a diagram for the vaccum setup can you post that.
From this Pic it looks like the actuator completely blocks the one turbine housing preventing the gases from going into it. This would mean that the manifold is not split between the two turbos. Is this correct? I was thinking about doing another parallel twin kit but this sheds new light on the sequential setup.
I hope you posted to share information and have an intelligent discussion and and not just to start ----.
P.S my turbos seem pretty real to me.
