Default twin scroll block off

Hi Im new to this forum and I have been on and off this site lately I wanted to know if block off plate theory really works. I was on here a few months ago and there was a guy with a mustang that said it work and on his topic there was a guy with a explorer that was using a external wastgae to transfer the exhaust to the 2nd scroll of the exhaust hosing i wanted to know if anyone had a link to that topic i can't find it anywhere and i would like to know how that setup worked. There was also a guy with a older kawasaki that made a new setup to test the external waste gate theory. Thanks to anyone that might be able to help me
