Twin scroll Block off?"read that it's been done on here"
So what side of the twin scroll did they block off, I remeber way back in the day that someone did it and it helped reduce lag and increase major spool time. But what are the side effects? And whats the real purpose avoiding the twins?
Looking to get the Holset H1C to spool quicker on the H22.

jeff frank did it on his ssac test car years ago, to reduce spool times with an overly large turbine housing on a small motor. imagine, widebody, a t4 divided turbine flange, with only one hole open, with the mani made to funnel all the ex into said hole.
done.
insta-spool = hella backpressure.

18cm housing. And it sucks. I would love to have a 9 but the hy35 wont work according to bulls eye. Know where a smaller one is thats got a v band? Yeah the head flows great but i get to 21psi around 4200 in third gear. First is non existant and second get to 17 at 6100
