I'm having a delema on which turbo is the right turbo for my engine. I currently have a d16a6 all stock engine and want to turbo it. My question is, which turbo would best suit my needs? I want something that picks up boost quick, and pulls all the way through 7k. I want to run around 10 lbs of boost after I used turbo edit and tune the car. I'm guessing 450cc injectors will be good enough? I was thinking about the sti turbos but i don't know how well it will work with what I want. Any suggestions? I'v seen most people who run around the same liter engine use, k03, t3 .48/.60 , turbonetics t3/t04e, ihi rbh5, and the 14b. So many people use different turbos, and i havn't heard any feedback from where boost starts and how long it lasts. I don't really have a goal for hp, but the more power i can make the better it would be. I'm guessing something around maybe the 200 ish mark? In the end, I guess my real goal is to hit some 10 second q/m times also, but i seriously doubt my car can take that much abuse to make that much power to last that long. This car is going to be daily drivin so with that in mind, i want a reliable car. Again, any help would be appreciated, thanks for your help.

just out of curiosity, why is the t3 better? I mean, is there any reason why the others wouldn't be better? i looked at the post about how to choose a turbo but it was kinda sketchy on how to choose one. Lastly, how soon would boost kick in, 2.5-3k? Thanks for your help guys.

okay, well i'm guessing it will start right around 3k... but, if i had other possiblities, what other trim sizes are good? is that the best one? which cars did the designated t3 (.60/.4 trim come from? just the svo/merker/tbird?
