Turbo setup for ZC
I'm new to the whole import and turbo scene and i have a few questions. I have a 88 honda civic hatchback gettin ready to put a zc motor in it, and i have a WRX turbo that i bought really cheap and was wonderin if it would work with a HF manifold? it's a tdo4 turbo. Also...will i have to replace the stock map sensor and fuel injectors? and how much boost can i give it without blowin anything? If everything's done right and tuned good how well do u think i would do in the quarter mile?

Re:Turbo setup for ZC
the turbo of course will need an adapter to the hf manifold, and you can find ideas from the ones showcased on the site here.
the stock map sensor should work fine, no need to change it, but you'll need some sort of either check valves, or a missing link, or an ecu clip to fool it.
usually for zc's ive seen lots of 6-8psi setups that prove to be reliable and dont have much of a threat on the engine.
and im sure you could get high 13 second times with some borrowed slicks and a little bit of a boost in psi for a run at the track.
the most cost effective way to run 6-8psi in my eyes is to add biggar injectors and use the apexi s-afc to control them.... just an option to think about.
