The ---- (RP) is incredible... Not because I say so, because its been proven... IF you read that test, notice that Redline was included as well, and didnt fair nearly as well... Im SOLD.
Im at 10-15 after hard raping... My motor gets hot tooo...

Who cares about the brand of the oil you use?
get 5-50 oil.
The "50" is what makes the oil resist high temps and remain viscous without burning in the turbo..... not the brand.

Have you evar done any research on oil, its additives and their effects on longetivity
Or their ability to resist wear Its alot more complicated than simply running a "thicker" oil man.....
Its not even debatable.
IF you would have read the link I posted you would see that the performance of a oil is not simply based on viscosity.... unfortunately it took me some catastrophic valvetrain (cam and rocker) failure to become better versed on it myself. And yes Some brands ARE just overall better than others..
The most expensive isnt always better.... Just look at Mobile 1 (which by the way I was using when my cams and ---- died)... Then Look at Redli=ne (9 a qt and no better than mobile 1).... Then contrast both of their performance to the Royal purple (Lucas is also very good)...
Being its not a RP test, it IS unbiased and the results do NOT lie.

I heard the royal purple guys gave them free back-door access if they skewed the tests. And by back-door, I mean ---- sex. 
I actually got 4 qts of Royal Purple from the local Honda stealership. They have a whole range of performance crap to look at & buy, its really cool walking in to get a plain old sohc part and seeing CTR cams in one display case, and a ITR head in the next, etc.
BTW my oil does htis too in my sohc. I get well past 80psi when cold, then goes to the 15/50 psi deal, and drops to almost 10/40 after a full hour of doing 80mph on a summer day. I really want to get an OEM oil cooler, it should help warm it up sooner, and keep it a right where it should be (hot not boiling).
