Default Turbo makes my engine oil heat up and thin out

Anybody else have this problem that if they have a half hour drive their oil pressure at 1000rpms become 10-15psi?
Turbo is an egay special so it aint water cooled and I think I regret that
What have some of you done to solve this?
On top of that its nearing freezing hear in the mornings and it still gets hot as ---- under that hood

It happens to mine. Normal warmed up oil psi is 20+ lbs at idle, but after going home on the freeway it drops to 10-15 and is runny is ----. I'm probably going to run a thicker oil I guess.

Well mine's about 15psi with cheap ---- after boosting on the freeway. I refuse to use royal purple. It's simply not something I want to do, especially since I change oil every 1k.

I change mine every 1500, so what. cheap insurance...

In my case its the difference between eating vtec rockers (due to built valvetrain) and not, did you see that test and the results... Undeniably better... 6.50 a qt, thats cheap ------- insurance against a engine consuming itself, which IS what you seem to be worried about....

Amsoil, redline and Lucas id consider also.... but i dont freak out since ive seen what this ---- does. Hence, 10-15 psi at idle doesnt scare me, sounds like it scares you....

I must say, I might be getting royal purple on my next oil change.

It just seems abnormal is all. I think I need a new valve cover, too. I leak about a quart every 2 weeks and under the valve cover is a mess. First I used just the gasket then I put hondabond all around and it didn't help much. I may have dropped the valve cover a while back, which would explain it being tweaked.

I might be finding some Penrite, but I don't even know if they sell it here.
