How much do replacements usually cost? I drilled a hole into the fpr outlet as I saw on theoldone.com to releive some pressure. Helped a little but still no go. I dont see how some people use the high pump and its not working for me what so ever. Damn it sucks.

what car/engine are you working on? sounds like smc wiring problem still. the fuel pump still sounds screwy.

you don't need hp fuel pump w/ dsm unless you are running high boost. i'm running stock fuel pump/stock fpr at 8psi of boost with dsm, resistorbox and safc.

hope you figure it out and get it fixed.

You can drill a hole in your stock regulator. T.O.O. has an article about it. Not sure of the website anymore.

Did that last night. Seemed to help the car turn on with the pump on. It just idles at like 100-200rpm and bogs like hell, and everything shakes.

How hard is it to unhook the smc? Your car should run decent with the 450s and the stock computer..

No I mean it should just run.. Atleast then you would be able to move it.. Something that you hooked up must not be right. Obviously since your having all these problems its not right.

it might not be a bad idea to go out and get a fuel pressure guage today.. They are only like $20.. Hook that up and see what your fuel pressure is..

Unhook the smc and see what happens. You said it did this before you put the new injectors and smc in right?

I always ran rich.. after I put in my smc and Ted for my boost gauge it did this. I will get a pressure gauge today and see whats happening.

So even with stock injectors it did this.. It all started with the smc? The vac line off the fpr can't cause what is happening. Sounds like the smc is wired up wrong.

I think your gonna end up taking off all the fuel stuff and putting it back to stock.. Then testing everything and trying to figure out what is not working right.

Getting an adj fpr is not a bad idea.. The B&M one will only raise the pressure. Double and tripple check your fuel return line and make sure there are no kinks in it.
