Well it sounds like you are definitely getting too much fuel.. @-50% it should not be rich.. the reason it ran with the pump off was it burned the exess fuel in the line.

Sounds to me like you have a problem with either the injectors or the smc. Do you have a spare pump you can use to test the injectors to see if they are leaking?

What plugs came in your car? are you running a 6 or 7 ngk now?

What ecu are you running? OBD1

OBD2, I do have a seperate pump, but no transportation to go get it. Could it be that the car is burning off the fuel that flooded my engine from before? I fouled the plugs about 5 mins before I had it running this time with new plugs. Should I let it run out the gas, then try using a less lean setting and trying to start?

You mean more lean than 53%? Oh you said less lean.. you should be able to set it for about -40% and have it be very close.. Pull the plugs again.. Make sure they are dry.. With the plugs out and the fuel pump off turn the motor over a few times.. DON'T pour anything else down the cylnders.. Then after your sure the cylnders are clean put it all back together.. turn your pump on and set it for -40.. Turn it over.. if it doesn't start pretty quickly try holding the throttle wide open to let more air in.. Incase it is just too rich. If that works great.. if not keep trouble shooting. If you have to have the car running my next step would be put the stock injectors back in and unhook the wastegate rod.

Ok. Went to start it again with my settings at -47% let the pump prime, went to crank.. no go. So turned the pump off started right up. Smoking a bit, guessing thats from oil/etc. But running, now I have a constant CEL though. This is confusing.

Wait.. it keeps running with the fuel pump off? How long will it run like that? That is really, really weird.

Ran for like 3 minutes Id say running strong, rich on A/F gauge, idling at 1,500 firm. What could this be a cause of? The car only runs after the pump has primed, and the car is started with the pum off. SMC is blinking with the rpms, and CEL is on steady? Im stumped. Every few mins or so a hiccup is heard and a little bit of gas comes out, smells like burning oil. And its smoking.

Well remember you put oil in and it has had a ton of gas dumped in it.. I really don't understand how its still running with the fuel pump turned off.. Sorry I can't be more help but I have no idea about the smc and your car sounds like its doing some weird stuff.

Well thanks Todd youve been a big help so far. Appreciate it. If anyone has any other ideas heh shoot em by me. Because my car is posessed. lol. I guess I'll see how long itll run, most it could do is stop i guess.

Still running.. Stalled two times, cranked right back up afterwards with no fuel lol.

Whats up Blind? Glad to hear you got the car running and your turbo kit installed. Trouble shooting is a bitch huh? lol, it sounds to me like maybe the wires to the fuel pump cut off switch got reversed or switched somehow. I mean, it runs with the switch off... but won't run with it on... Thats my guess anyway. Let us know what happens man.
