2.) Ever heard of a 6V-92 detroit deisel? It was the biggest 2 stroke ever made. It had a "6-71"( yes the one everyone uses one hotrods) roots style supercharger on the top with twin turbos. And it needed all that just to make it run. And run IT DID! These are the motors you'll find in the tractor pullers that make 5000-10,000HP So don't doubt the 2 strokes for eating boost! They LOVE IT!!!!
I'm not here to knock the project, but I did see some rather misinformed statements.

1.) You forgot the part about average turbo setups having drive pressures higher than 1:1. That means the exhaust pressure is higher than boost and the charge mixture cannot simply blow out the exhaust. That would also imply that an expansion chamber is wasted on a turbocharged 2-stroke gas engine.

2.) Biggest 2-stroke?! A 6V-92 is a V-6 Detroit Diesel engine. Not only did Detroit make a larger 8V-92 V8 and 12v-92 V12, but cargo ships use 2-cycle diesels that make the 12V-92 look like a toy. The majority of tractor pullers use 4-strokes, btw.
