Turbo Banshee is alive!
 

I got her running friday night despite not having a WB working and no vacuum line on the MAP sensor. Also I had to hold the turbo from spinning since I had no oil system hooked up yet. Later i also found the timing to be 40 degrees retarded. So I fixed all that sat and put on a throttle cable.

I put some vids of us starting it on friday on my youtube channel if anyone wants to see it make smoke. Nothing special! I'll get some vids of it running alot better on weds, which is my next day off of work. As soon as my brother gets a customers vette off the dyno I should be getting the finished oil pump for my turbo about the same time. Then I can do some serious tuning and have it ripping boost runs off by next weekend. I have some odds and ends to finish up and I'm done. No need to rush it now. I cleared up all the problems with interfacing the megasquirt. Just ended up being a jumper on the wrong side of the VR output. That's the only reason for having no spark all this time.

So there you have it boyz... Only 8 months of working every free minute I had. And the first turbocharged Megasquirted EFI banshee if running. Just some tuning to do to it and finish up the turbo oil system... Then the fun video's start to poor onto my channel.... I'm sure you've all heard of the ghostrider guy from sweden.. >:D.need I say more.

haha yeah I said it wasn't anything special... just wanted to hear it run. Anyways later this week I'll be able to show you a vid of the oil pump assy. I know a while back whitey had some crazy ---- goin' on with his banshee. It's a bit like that. But very simple.... dry sump!

So... Wedsday I'll be pack my ---- up and moving it down to the dyno shop for some tuning and dialing in. I just have to mount the cooland rezy and my wastegate controller before I can make boost. I had the turbo impellar almost bite the end of my fingers off trying to hold it from spinning. With every chop of the throttle that thing was going crazy trying it spin. I never realized those things had soooo much torque. nuts man!

You never did full spark control or had the turbo finished.... sorry bro.

I should have said the first fully megasquirt'd turbo banshee to actually run AND make boost.

Besides.... WTF are you doing? When are you gunna finish that ---- up. I seen a couple old pics of you new banshee on some older posts. NICE! When you gunna quit that N/A crap and come back to makin' some real #'s?

You should have been done 2 years ago. Holla back!

so just go to youtube and search turbo banshee.... ;) I can post all kinds of shitty pics but until I hit boost on the dyno.... none of them are worth looking at!
