That was during the original fab, before it got clocked up a few more degrees & the piping was ground & cleaned up.
No the actuator didn't scrape... Until I hit a speedbump doing 25-30mph. It got destroyed LoL! Didn't matter... Small ass turbo - I had welded the wastegate shut anyway so it's not like it was doing anything LoL!

Think that's ghetto? You should see how I ported my heads, and how that super ghettoness gave some massive returns.

Man thats the first lexus I've ever seen all ------- backyarded like that, sweet stuff 8)

I can now answer why EPDM is remaining unaffected by the heat.
The temperature range quoted from the EPDM-300 kanaflex maker is very low!

The actual temperature range for EPDM is:

EPDM
-70*F to 365*F

So I think the rest of HMT need to get on the bandwagon!

How tight of a bend can you make with this stuff? Will I still need some 90 or 180 bends to get to and from the intercooler?

You can buy this stuff with a 2.5" ID also. I guess that'd work a little better since a lot of intercoolers are 2.5"

I saw it on Kanaflex's website. Im trying to find a source that sells it. Also the mininum bend radius is 5" for the 2" stuff and 7" for the 3" stuff

Id call the company and ask who their distributors are. Just a couple of questions for the dude running this stuff, but first i wanted to say cool stuff and congrats on the turbo lexus. Reading above it said something about 43 psi working pressure, does that mean it caves in when its not pressurized? Also, how strong is the weakest point, the reason i ask is because i was thinking it might tear easy on set ups that have piping run through metal frame area or near the floor etc.
Thanks for the heads up on this stuff !
