Applications:
Heavy duty liquid suction hose for use in construction dewatering, liquid waste, cesspool cleaning, septic handling, agricultural applications and marine use.

2" ID - 2.43" OD - 5.2" bend radii - 50 working psi - 190 burst psi - 29.8 In/HG vacuum - .67 lbs per foot

3" ID - 3.52" OD - 7.1" bend radii - 43 working psi - 150 burst psi - 29.8 In/HG vacuum - 1.10 lbs lbs per foot

I've used the stuff on a civic, and on this ES 300. Never had a problem. On this ES 300, it fits on the turbo, runs close to exhaust piping half the trip. It's never discolored, it's not mounted on a hot manifold like most of you will so... It's your call, not mine. Neither the manifold civic, nor this v6 has ever had a problem.


The black is some rubbery compound that let's it bend. Probably some generic rubber. The green is a hard plastic to protect it.
The green helps it actually... It doesn't deform under boost/vacuum/bending, and it doesn't really get damaged being throw around sharp things in the engine bay. The green pretty much protects the black from being cut.

There is another benefit. If your flanges are the right size it completely negates using hose clamps... Trust me, this ---- is HARD to pull off, and the clamps can't really clamp the hard green plastic anyway. :P Like I said, it doesn't deform LoL! Just make SURE that you're using the right sizes for any turbo/throttlebody/intercooler flanges. This stuff isn't going to expnd on a flange, and I'm not sure home depot style couplers would work well on the outside of it. It's got a little texture on the green, but not enough to grab (IMHO).

About the only thing I've found going against it is that the inside isn't 100% smooth. There is a small, smooth wavy transition between the black, and the green. Honestly... Who gives a crap? If it's robbing you of power, turn up the boost, and/or stop being a cheap ass.


I'm currently down, trying to find some bigger turbo's to choose, but this one was holding over 20psi with no clamps. (I got sold the wrong turbo originally. It's way too small, but I decided to drive with it anyway. Amazing what happens when you weld a wastegate shut! :P)


Anyways... I'm going to keep using it, and I figured I might as well share it. So far I like it.

It's really cheap for what you can do with it. It's definately a better option than the PVC that some people use.

holy ---- that is badass. I likes that idea. Cheap and functional. Take more pics of your engine bay or woever's engine bay that is. The green must look funny from a distance huh, but then again if you ever try to sell your car it'll probably up the value like 2k. :P

Now, I've had a leaky downpipe and melted a few things. In order for them to melt, they definately were heated over that given temp. range. Any explaination why it oddly doesn't have those problems given the heat range and application it is typically used it? O0
