Default T-25 wastegate

Any one know how can I change the spring in the wastegate to lower the boost to 7 or 8. My friend told that the wastegate is set 11 pounds of boost. is that true?? tia

Pretty sure it depends on which car it came from.

I am having the same problem with my T25 on my 1st gen ZC with no IC. Stock, I am hitting 10psi on the dot at only 3k rpms. I threaded the actuator rod to lengthen it and now the boost has been lowered to 7psi max in 3rd gear.
My T25 came off a 97 GST.

If you are hitting 10psi with your stock wastegate, something is wrong, that are internally set at 7-8psi.

But that is correct, if you want to lower it more, you will need to lengthen the wastegate actuator rod.

Hmmm, makes me wonder what's wrong then?
I have also used two different wastegate actuators with the same results.

There isn't nothing wrong with the wastegate actuator my friend told me that the wastegate is set to 10psi so nyc86zc
confirmed this because he is having the same problem.

No I have done several T-25 setups, all at 8 psi, your buddies is set at 10psi because it has a factory boost controller on his car.
