we have 100 octane unleaded at one pump here in jax FL. i still think its the amount of lead in the gas. they call avgas low lead, but it has a lot in it

We have 110 at one pump by the airport. You are not supposed to dispense it into a regular car, you have to either have a container or the car traillered, but they usually don't care.

We have that here too. 110 octane cam2 at a gas station near the dragstrip. Doesn't seem to bother my wastegate either.

I've had 2 failures one on a tial and one on an SSAC both running avgas for an extended period of time. Both cars were over 300whp and running rich. The failures I saw were both in the pistons so they didn't result in overboost. In short the piston in the WG was eaten away. The tial failed after 3 years of hard use and I think the SSAC one was on his second year. Both had a lot of trouble with lead on the plugs as well. They've since switched to Stinson's Mk4 unleaded 114octane and I haven't heard back from either.
