SSAC WG with race gas
 
anyone use the ssac gates with race gas?
How will the valve stem stand up with leaded gas?

What does the wastegate have anything to do with leaded or unleaded fuel?!!?! :S

I believe Tial says not to use their typical 38mm gate with leaded fuel. I have no clue why, though. ???

I've heard of this too. It'd be good to know if it's anything to think about.

The lead oxide is corrosive and can cause valve failure etc.They offer another valve with a coating to prevent this corrosion.I would just run it and keep the boost cut hooked up in case.

i have run 100LL avgas with no corrosion problems. the only problem i had was lead build up on the spark plugs that caused detonation
